The cottage has electricity and running water. OK, to call the water "running" would be an overstatement. It trickled. Slowly. But at least it was hot. We all managed to be able to take showers with only a little difficulty. Other than that, it had all the comforts of home!
Stony Lake

Across the street from the cottage is Stony Lake. On Saturday night, we all walked down to the local corner store and got ice cream, and then after dark a couple of us went down to the lake. It was a remarkably clear night even though the weather forecast had been calling for rain. In fact, Rolfe and I both saw part of an apparent meteor shower!
