Asparagus Festival

This is not directly Benona-related, but I had to post this. It's almost unbelievable. Here's a link to the Stockton Asparagus Festival, which just concluded at the end of April in Stockton, California. Apparently this year, three-time champion Joey Chestnut (his real name), won the annual Deep-Fried Asparagus Eating Contest>, beating his previous record by over two pounds. That means (according to the 2006 International Federation of Competitive Eating web site) he ate over 8 pounds of deep-fried asparagus in 10 minutes.

UPDATE: Here's the ten-minute long video on YouTube! Final total: 8.6 pounds. His pee will stink for a month.
